MUFON-LA – Ted Phillips

Ted Phillips is the Director of The Center for Physical Trace Research (CPTR). The Special Investigations Unit of the CPTR investigates active UFO sites. The team posts investigative logs along with images and video obtained during site visits in the field. The teams primary purpose is to insert itself into an area of developing activity while the site is still fresh. The SIU has five highly qualified researchers and has the only dive team in the U.S. geared toward the investigation of USOs and similar anomalies.

Our speaker, Ted Phillips, is an engineer, as well as a professional photographer and musician. He participated in the Vanguard Satellite Tracking Program and was a field engineer on the Minuteman Missile Project. He began investigating UFO reports in 1964 and was a research associate of Dr. J. Allen Hyneks from 1968 until Dr. Hyneks death in 1986. It was at Allen Hyneks suggestion that he began specializing in physical trace research of UFO sightings forty years ago. Phillips has personally investigated hundreds of UFO cases and his files contain 3,189 physical landing traces from 91 countries.

Phillips participated in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Aerospace Sciences meetings, along with Dr. Hynek, Jacque Vallee and Dr. David Saunders. He was a member of a select team invited to meet with the United Nations secretary-General at the U.N., along with Dr. Hynek, Dr. Vallee and astronaut Gordon Cooper. Phillips gave two presentations at the First International UFO Congress. Ted made a presentation at the first MUFON Symposium and at several others, including the 2006 Symposium. He has appeared on national television in numerous documentaries including In Search Of, NBC News White Papers, CBS News Special reports and the documentary movie, UFOs Are Real. Most recently, he was featured in Alien Encounters, a documentary on the History Channel.

Phillips current research projects include active UFO sites in the central U.S. and a major project in the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia. He will be briefing us on his latest research and some of his most fascinating previous cases.

MUFON-LA – Nadine Lalich

For 20 years, Nadines professional life included working in the legal field as a project coordinator for public entities and as a document management specialist, analyzing and organizing evidence, issues and events to assist in preparing legal cases for trial. Throughout her life, she has also maintained a pervasive interest in the study of psychology and various techniques for recovery from addictive behavior and emotional trauma. Over a period of ten years, she mentored several hundred individuals in various recovery programs, created and facilitated self-discovery, goal-setting and esteem building workshops and writing groups, and produced a line of inspirational childrens items, nationally distributed. She has explored spiritual expansion, physical healing, and accelerated mental functioning through meditation techniques, sound and light machines, sensory deprivation tanks, neurolinguistic and subliminal programming, and natural healing remedies including herbs, vitamins and reflexology. Overall, her experiences have promoted a unique understanding of the various psychological and emotional states which human beings can experience.

Within the framework of a peaceful and satisfying life, Nadine carried a secret, hidden from everyone in her life except one life-long friend. The truth was that for many years, some kind of extraordinary contact had been taking place with what appeared to be non-human entities. In early 2005, after a particularly prolific period of contact, Nadines fear of revealing the secret fell away and a steely determination to investigate and stop the bizarre infringement took its place. She joined MUFON where she soon met Barbara Lamb, a researcher with whom she shared her story and eventually conducted research together and co-authored the book, Alien Experiences, 25 Cases of Abduction.

Nadine has written two books, Alien Experiences and The Dream of Becoming, has appeared on Discovery Channels 2007 television program, Best Evidence, Alien Abduction and on Discovery Health Channels 2000 television program, Alternatives to Healing. She has been a guest on a number of radio shows including Paranormal Radio and A Global Focus. She has also been a guest panel speaker on alien abduction at the Mutual UFO Network in Orange County in 2007 and 2008, is a board member of the Journal of Abduction Research (JAR) and has written articles for the magazine. MUFON-LA – Dr. Thomas Valone

Thomas F. Valone, PhD, PE, physicist and licensed professional engineer with over 30 years professional experience, is a former patent examiner, research engineer, instrumentation designer, CEO, and currently an author, lecturer, and consultant on future energy developments. He is President and founder of Integrity Research Institute and formerly the Research Director for Scott Aviation-ATO, Inc. His accomplishments include circuit development of the HullCom® for naval intraship communication, a narrowband 60 Hz gauss meter without harmonic distortion, two bioelectric energy devices, and a dental mercury vapor ionizer-precipitator.

Dr. Valone will be speaking to us about the energy systems of UFOs and attempts to duplicate this technology for use by human societies. Magnetism is the only force in nature not directly harnessed for energy usage. While some UFO reports describe permanent magnet-powered craft, building a practical replication is often very elusive. Past projects undertaken include the N-Machine (homopolar generator) and the Searl Effect Generator (SEG), as well as the Paulsen Mu Disk, and the Concrete Butterfly–all of which have UFO origins. The latest Magnetic Energy Converter (MEC) project in Russia fits the Paulsen description and may be leading to free energy from magnets. The findings and test results of the MEC Magnetic Motor Reproduction Project will be discussed, along with an overview and history of promising designs. Valone will give us a description of the historical UFO connection to the study of electrogravitics, which is the subject of two of his books. He will speak about electro kinetics and a ground breaking Norton AFB demonstration of this technology. MUFON-LA – Dr. David Jacobs

David M. Jacobs, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of History at Temple University in Philadelphia, specializing in 20th Century American History and Culture. In 1973, Dr. Jacobs completed his dissertation in field of Intellectual History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, on the controversy over unidentified flying objects in America. This was the second Ph.D. degree ever granted in the U.S. involving a UFO-related theme.

Dr. Jacobs is one of the foremost UFO abduction researchers in the world. He has worked with over 140 abductees, conducting nearly 900 hypnotic regressions. Using his extensive primary research, he developed the first scientific typology of abductions. He has amassed over 38 years of primary research data and analytical hypotheses on the subject of UFOs and alien abduction.

Dr. Jacobs’ breakthrough 1992 book, Secret Life: Firsthand Accounts of UFO Abductions is the most complete exposition of the structure and meaning of the abduction phenomenon yet published. His next book, The Threat, published in 1998, presented some very provocative ideas about the alien abduction program and what the motives behind it might be. In 2000, Jacobs edited UFOs and Abductions: Challenging the Borders of Knowledge. This book features papers by ten noted authors writing about the UFO/Abduction phenomenon. It is notable because its target readership is the academic community.

More recently, Dr. Jacobs has been looking into the subject of human-alien hybrids. Since 2003, he has been focusing on what he refer to as the Hybrid Integration Program. Dr. Jacobs will be presenting us with a rather startling talk about advances in the program that hes come across in his research. Some of these findings are unsettling. MUFON-LA – Erik Poltorak

Utilizing the writings and his personal involvement with Zecharia Sitchin and reinforced by his own research, Erik will present ancient and advanced knowledge given to the Sumerians 5,000 – 6,000 years ago. Mufon-LA – Mark McCandlish

Mark McCandlish grew up with an interest in aircraft and other modes of transportation, from an early age. He joined the Air Force and later made use of the G.I. Bill to attend Art Center College of Design. He later worked for a short time in the Hollywood special effects business as a matte artist, and then was hired by the General Dynamics Corporation in Pomona, California as a technical illustrator and technical publications editor.

During this time, Mark also was given the opportunity to participate in a number of media orientation rides in frontline U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard fighters, such as the F-15 Eagle and the F-16 Fighting Falcon. In 1986, McCandlish became aware that the U.S. military was in possession of some extraordinary technologies, and began to pursue his own private research into where it came from and how it works. The research led to many strange events and encounters.

Mark will be sharing his most intriguing stories from his tenure working in the twilight world of futuristic military aircraft. He will reveal all the law will allow about black projects and help us explore the edge where military and alien tech intersect. During his talk, he will be show us many professional illustrations hes done of both existing aircraft and conceptual depictions of otherworldly craft.
