UFO ‘shot straight up’ near Urbana, Ill.

There is no doubt in our minds that the mild mannered gentleman sporting a Stetson we met with on Sunday February 8th saw something of interest. As he surveyed the area once over then keenly pointed out “ It was there by those trees. Not quite sure how much in front of them…but it was there” One of the many MUFON CMS cases we have under investigation for the month but this one has photos and a rather convincing witness.

The weather was a solid overcast this last January 27th, as he recalled. There was nothing that would have accounted for the object he observed nor for source of light that initially caught his attention. Other than reflection from a camera flash, what would account for the array of images in the photos?

“I was taking a few landscape pictures for some research on Native American sites that I want to investigate in the spring. so I pulled off the road and snapped a few pictures of a farmers field that I believe may have some potential as a future reference site on a book I want to write in the future.

UFO in Her Eyes by Xiaolu Guo

To call the village of Silver Hill (population 600) in Hunan province the armpit of the Universe would be to elevate it to some sort of dignified status. Here, in this forgotten corner of China, the inhabitants, mostly illiterate peasants, have “eaten bitterness” all their lives. But their uneventful, resigned yet somewhat equable lives are about to be upended when, in September 2012, Kwok Fun spots a UFO as she makes her way across Wong Jing’s rice fields on her heap of a bicycle.

Very shortly after this she saves the life of an American tourist. The Westerner, the first one Kwok Fun has ever seen, disappears as soon as he is revived.

The Crop Circles of Google Earth (March 2008)

These are the latest visible crop circles in Google Earth as of March 2008.
Each one has the name of the closest town. Typing them into the FlyTo box in GE will get you there and then ill leave some of the fun for you to find them from there.
EDIT: At :58 the town is spelled wrong. Its suppose to be South Harting. I spelled it with a “d”. Sorry.

Bizarre lights seen in skies

A STRING of not quite so close encounters has prompted Swindon people to ask if anyone was out there.

Strange ‘dancing lights’ in the skies over the town were spotted on Thursday night and reported to the Adver.

Many of those who saw them could not explain what they saw in the skies over Castle Eaton, Cricklade and South Cerney areas.

Mum-of-eight Lisa Embling, 36, from Cricklade, was with her family at the time of the sighting.

Greece: Clear UFO sighting near Corinth, multiple witnesses

It appears that visitors from other worlds are taking a real interest in Greece. Greek newspaper ‘Espresso’ recently reported that earlier this month on Tuesday February 3 a clear UFO sighting occurred on the Peloponnese Peninsula near the Isthmus of Corinth. The UFO was witnessed and reported to local the police by a number of people.
One of the witnesses, Mr Patapios Palaiologou, a 42 year old worker at a local casino was driving his daughter to school when he saw the UFO.

Mums Plea to President Obama to save Gary McKinnon

THE mum of Scots hacker Gary McKinnon has written to Barack Obama begging him to save her son from a US jail term.

The appeal to the US president came as McKinnon was given the news yesterday that he will not be charged in the UK – increasing his chances of being extradited to the US and a possible 70-year jail term.

McKinnon, 42, has admitted gaining access to 97 Pentagon, US navy, army and NASA computers between 2001 and 2002.

But his mum Janis Sharp, 60, said yesterday that Gary, who has Asperger’s syndrome, would not survive a US prison term.

She said: “Gary is a gentle soul and would not want to harm anyone.

“But he would have to be on suicide watch if he was in jail in the US. They would see him as an enemy of the state and you hear these stories about male rape and stun guns in the jail system in America.

Another UFO sighting?

Another UFO sighting in the county, but this time over Hamilton.

A 28 year old man of Silvertonhill, told how he captured a photograph of a UFO in the sky over the town.

He was speaking about the incident after the Advertiser reported earlier this month how the MoD had probed a UFO sighting in Larkhall.

The 28 year old, who films wedding videos said he was visiting his girlfriends how in Motherwell’s Watling Street when he looked up into the sky and saw a bizarre white light, the looked like a meteorite or ‘Shooting Light’ falling from the sky.

Uber-hacker loses new round of US extradition fight

British prosecutors said they would not bring criminal charges against a London man accused of hacking into US military computers. The decision is a blow to Gary McKinnon’s attempts to avoid extradition to the United States.

US prosecutors allege that McKinnon, 42, broke into 97 computers belonging to Nasa, the Department of Defence and several branches of the military soon after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. McKinnon says he was looking for evidence of UFOs.

British and European courts have rejected repeated legal attempts by McKinnon’s lawyers to block his extradition. Last month McKinnon offered to plead guilty to a criminal charge in Britain to avoid facing trial in the United States.
